I got a Coby CSP96 surround sound system which came with RCA cables. Thanks to this adapter I was able to plug my surround sound system into my computer and enjoy my games, music, and videos. I expected a small amount of sound quality loss but everything sounds pretty good still. And for a penny + shipping, I have absolutely no complaints.

Can accept rca inputs – M. Ngo – USA
This cable can be used to connect an rca input to a 3.5mm aux port. I have a pair of computer speakers with a 3.5mm aux port that accepts external audio inputs. I connected the rca input from my Playstation 2 to the 3.5mm port on the speakers, and it plays my Playstation audio just fine.
